Below are answers to the most common things people ask before joining the experience

  • How many participants will there be?
    The experience is intentionally intimate, with curated guests. Not more than 10 people.
  • Is the experience suitable for solo travellers?
    Yes.

    Many guests join independently. The structure of the experience naturally fosters connection, shared practice, and ease within the group. Solo travellers often leave having formed meaningful friendships. And many come back for this exact reason.
  • Do I need a partner to join?
    Not at all.

    You are welcome to join with or without a partner. Whether you dance as a leader or follower, you will have ample opportunity to practice with fellow participants, as well as with professional dancers.
  • I am coming with my partner. Is this suitable for us?
    Absolutely.

    The experience is designed to support both individual growth and the evolution of your dance as a couple. You will refine your technique separately and deepen your connection together.
  • What is the leader/follower ratio?
    We carefully curate the group to ensure balance and fluidity in practice.
    Our priority is that every participant, leader or follower, enjoys both quality and quantity of dance throughout the retreat.
  • Do I need to be highly experienced in tango?
    No.

    Our guests range from dancers with 10+ years of experience to those who have attended 10 classes. The programme is curated with sensitivity, so you are met exactly where you are in your journey.
  • Is the experience focused more on technique, musicality, or connection?
    The retreat embraces all three dimensions without prioritising one aspect over another.
    Workshops are thoughtfully structured and specialised. Private lessons are entirely tailored to your personal goals, whether you wish to refine technique, deepen musical understanding, or cultivate greater connection in your dance.
  • Are private lessons available?
    Yes, and recommended!
    One private lesson is included in the experience.
    Additional private sessions with the maestros are available upon request.
    As these are in high demand, we recommend reserving them in advance.
  • What level of physical fitness is required?
    The experience is open to all levels of physical fitness.

    That said, you will be dancing five or more hours per day, in addition to any private lessons you may choose to book. A reasonable level of stamina will allow you to fully enjoy the rhythm of the retreat. To support your body throughout the week, our dedicated massage therapist will be present to help relieve tension or discomfort. Rest is always encouraged, and you are free to pace yourself according to your needs.
